Description

Objective:

The course objective is for the student to demonstrate how to manage a partnership and, develop and plan various events and engagements with a partner nation from concept through execution.

Learning Outcomes:

  • connect strategic objectives of US and State Partner Nation
  • outline implementing processes and procedures, authorities and requirements, tools, personnel involved, and other related planning considerations involved in executing events and engagements with a partner nation
  • effectively apply planning tools and procedures to events and engagements
  • articulate and defend choices made in developing events and engagements with state partner
  • articulate the appropriate authority among a listing of legislative options, select the proper appropriation stream and align planning actions to these authorities and funding streams
  • demonstrate understanding of partnership management metrics and be able to develop business control measures for proper accountability.
