Description

Objective:

The course objective is for the student to demonstrate the skills necessary to determine solutions to issues within the Security Cooperation (SC) Case Financial Management by leveraging their comprehensive understanding, synthesis, and analysis and of the financial laws, regulations, and policies.

Learning Outcomes:

  • demonstrate how to calculate pricing according to laws, regulations, policies, and given data
  • analyze (evaluate/critique) the policies and determine the factors that make up SC pricing
  • summarize how SCIP (Security Cooperation Information Portal) reports can assist in financial management
  • distinguish the various financial reporting codes and consider how they impact FMS billing documentation
  • evaluate and solve action items identified both before and during a Financial Management Review (FMR).
