Description

Objective:

The course objective is to assist faculty in achieving a level of excellence in teaching skills, training management, and curriculum development. This experiential course is centered on the premise that knowledge is created through concrete experience, and offers hands-on opportunities for candidates, followed by reflection activities to better understand those experiences. Candidates are provided with opportunities to develop applicable knowledge of relevant theories for future application in the classroom environment.

  • Refine professional practice through reflection on experience, feedback, and evidence
  • Conduct research to discover instructional concepts, trends, and theories to shift from teacher-led instruction to student-centered models
