Description

Objective:

The course objective is to, while using sound academic disciplines, reflective teaching and experiential education theory, understand and discuss human relations/performance subjects addressed in each lesson objective, as well as participate in educational activities associated with EEO Officer duties. Each student must also meet all assessment criteria identified in this course.This course develops advanced knowledge and skills that allow graduates to manage effective EEO programs at the installation, activity, and command level. Studies focus on the statutory/legal as well as intra/interpersonal and organizational aspects of EEO. The course develops a state-of-the-art knowledge of nondiscrimination, affirmative action of EEO, diversity, strategic planning of affirmative employment of EEO, and human resource management issues through a series of presentations by experts in these subject matter areas, group activities, and student-led symposia.
