Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide an educational setting to apply foundational knowledge gained in IND 105V to determine the adequacy of a Contractor’s Property Management System. Course lessons will include material that will allow students to: (1) Apply the requirements for performing a Property Management System Audit; (2) Analyze a Contractor’s property management procedures to determine compliance with FAR 52.245-1; (3) Determine a sample using audit objectives and a population; (4) Develop audit working papers; (5) Analyze a sample against criteria to generalize the findings to the population, audit report writing.

  • Analyze the requirements for performing a Property Management System Audit (PMSA)
  • Analyze a contractor's property management procedures to determine acceptability based on the requirements of FAR 52.245-1(f)
  • Determine the sampling methods used for auditing a Contractor’s Property Management System
  • Complete a Property Management System Audit (PMSA) using audit working papers
  • Analyze audit samples and generalize the findings to the population
  • Illustrate the noncompliance resolution process
