Description

Objective:

This credential brings together 10 on-line training (OLT) courses and supporting resources to offer a comprehensive overview of maintenance planning and management. It is designed to provide learners an overarching understanding of the life cycle logistician’s responsibilities for planning and managing the product support associated with maintaining their respective weapons system. The credential focuses on specific topics that can impact the overall maintenance planning and management process. Examples include Product Support Arrangements; requirements derived from Key Performance Parameters, Key Systems Attributes and Additional Performance Attributes; Reliability Centered Maintenance and Condition Based Maintenance Plus; demilitarization and disposal; logistics product data; and, configuration management and engineering change proposals. A summative examination must be completed to demonstrate the learner’s ability to apply what they have learned.
