Description

Objective:

A 3-hour examination (75 minutes of multiple-choice questions and 105 minutes of free-response questions) that covers topics in a first-semester introductory college course in computer science. Both Computer Science examinations include 5-10 multiple-choice questions and one free-response question based on a Case Study in C++.

Skills Measured:

The examination measures a student's knowledge of programming in C++, programming methodology (including recursion), and procedural abstraction. It also includes algorithms, data structures, and data abstraction.
