Description

Objective:

The Spanish Language examination is designed to measure interpretive reading and listening skills equivalent to those of students who have completed college-level introductory and lower intermediate Spanish Language courses.

Skills Measured:

The skills measured include 15 percent: listening: rejoinders; 25 percent: listening: dialogues and narratives; and 60 percent: reading: part a - discrete sentences (vocabulary and structure), part b - short cloze passages (vocabulary and structure), and part c - reading passages and authentic stimulus materials (reading comprehension).
