Description

Objective:

The course objective is to ensure each student can perform mission critical duties associated with the day-to-day inventory management of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy fuel accounts.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Correct errors within the account.
  • Reconcile inventory.
  • Identify requirements.
  • Place fuel orders.
  • Process inventory transactions.
  • Use features within the DLA Energy licensed software (FuelsManager Defense 9.0, FuelsManager Defense Enterprise, Enterprise Business System, External Enterprise Business Portal and various other web-based application tools).
  • Locate necessary information on the DLA Energy web page and DLA Energy Training Portal.
  • Perform processing and maintenance of a Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) fuel inventory account.
  • Perform accounting for the receipt of fuel.
