Description

Objective:

The Living Online exam is the one of three exams which comprise the Internet and Computing Core Curriculum (IC3) Global Standard 5 (GS5) exam suite. It is an online, mixed multiple choice- and performance-based Digital literacy test designed to assess basic computing and other digital skills Successful candidates demonstrate they have the digital literacy skills to function successfully, effectively, and productively in digital environments. The IC3 certification addresses the following key digital literacy concepts and skills: social media; collaboration; digital devices; research fluency; critical thinking; and cloud computing. Specifically, the IC3 GS5 Living Online exam covers skills for working in an Internet or networked environment and maximizing your communication, education, collaboration and social interaction in a safe and ethical way.
