The Critical Career Skills: Generative AI Foundations exam assesses competency in the fundamental understanding of Generative AI, its uses in personal and professional contexts, and the responsible and ethical management of such technology.
A successful candidate will not only have the technical proficiency necessary to interact with Generative AI tools, but will also be able to demonstrate a strong ethical framework for using AI technology, including:
• Understanding privacy implications
• Recognizing bias
• Considering issues surrounding intellectual property rights
An individual earning this certification has approximately 150 hours of instruction and/or hands-on experience with Generative AI tools. They should be familiar with productivity applications, such as Microsoft 365 or Google Docs.
