Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce students to practical applications of business law concepts that are common to companies and consumers.

Learning Outcomes:

  • identify concepts and application of laws affecting business, consumers, and individuals
  • outline the legal system and alternatives to it, such as alternative dispute resolution
  • explain the formation of contracts, and their enforceability, defenses, and remedies for breach
  • describe real and personal property and their applications to business
  • discuss wills, trusts and elder law issues
