Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce students to Department of Defense (DoD) Special Access Programs (SAPs) by describing the SAP environment and discussing the interaction among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of Government to establish SAP policy. The roles and responsibilities of oversight and support offices and agencies and mandatory SAP requirements are reviewed. Lessons address security enhancements across security disciplines, compliance inspections and their requirements, annual reviews, and audits. The final presentation requires students to use prior knowledge, skills and abilities with information they learned in the course to create and deliver an annual refresher training presentation applicable to the work environment.
