Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide logistics personnel with knowledge of supply management of systems (major end items) throughout the lifecycle from concept to development and acquisition, fielding, forecasting, demand management, maintenance, supply/inventory management and support, documentation and coding, and divestiture.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Describe policy and regulations associated with acquisition and inventory and supply management of systems (major and secondary end items)
  • Explain lifecycle logistics support for systems from concept to divestiture
  • Discuss documentation and cataloging procedures specifically documenting allocations and coding and numbering specifically adhering to specific customer standards and requirements
