Description

Objective:

The course objective is to improve senior logistician logistics management specialist competencies focusing on twelve specific areas across the supply chain and logistics enterprise at the strategic level and to develop and further enrich the critical thinking, leadership, and functional skills of senior logisticians.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explain the integrated and highly independent nature of all competencies across the supply chain and logistics enterprise at the strategic level
  • Describe the importance of innovation with supply chains with a focus on the defense life cycle systems management and the Defense distribution system
  • Consider organizational and cultural change to adapt people, process, and technology and bring them into alignment
  • Execute approaches to managing and adding value to the military and commercial industrial base in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) centric environment
  • Create approaches to optimizing value and managing end to end supply chains while dealing with the complexities of the Distribution Systems, including performance metrics and supply chain risk assessment
