Description

Objective:

To provide students with an explanation and understanding of the various protocols comprising the TCP/IP suite and relate these protocols to the UNIX operating system.

  • Configure host IP, netmask, and broadcast addresses
  • Use operating system commands to monitor network problems
  • Identify the networking protocols that support the TCP/IP networking model
