Description

Objective:

To provide in-depth instruction on the application of SQC Troubleshooter (statistical quality control software) in the improvement of any process.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Use the SQC Troubleshooter approach to problem solving
  • Apply SQC Troubleshooter to improve quality, use control charts to perform process capability studies and monitor process performance
  • Use histograms, normal probability plots, and Pareto analysis to identify the type and severity of process problems
  • Use scatterplots, boxplots, and Analysis of Means to determine the relationship between explanatory variables and the response
  • Use the statistics associated with the various graphical tools to help in decision making
  • Use sorting and filtering to restrict the analysis
  • Produce and modify graphics with SQC Troubleshooter
  • Transfer data from other information systems to SQC Troubleshooter
