As assistant vice president for Advancement, Jeffrey S. Johnson is responsible for the planning and execution of fundraising programs to support ACE’s strategic priorities, including leadership development, adult learning and attainment and internationalization.

Johnson has a 20-year career in the nonprofit sector focused on higher education and the performing arts, including fundraising and administrative positions at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, University of Puget Sound (WA), Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and Seattle Symphony. He has served as board chair for the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education and Puget Sound Grantwriters Association and has presented at numerous conferences on advancement and related topics.

Johnson earned his bachelor’s degree in music education from James Madison University and his master’s degree and PhD in music from University of Iowa.
