CIGE convenes quarterly meetings of the Washington International Education Group (WIEG), a network of higher education association staff members and government agency officers who meet to discuss issues relevant to the advancement of international education in the United States.
The Inter-association Network on Campus Internationalization (INCI) is a group of 12 organizations and higher education associations that are dedicated to campus internationalization and global learning. CIGE manages the INCI web resource portal which provides an overview of and access to each member association's information and resources on internationalization.
Since 1989, ACE has engaged in a series of biennial meetings with the European University Association (EUA, formerly CRE: The Association of European Universities). These invitational meetings provide an opportunity for presidents, rectors, and vice chancellors from the United States, Canada and Europe to discuss contemporary higher education issues.
