Letter to Congressional Leaders on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Deadline

The Trump administration announced Sept. 5 it was rescinding the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), granting a six-month delay in order for Congress to pass legislation to provide a permanent solution. As Congress faces a deadline this week to pass funding legislation and keep the government open, ACE and 18 other associations are urging lawmakers to also adopt legislation providing permanent legal status for DACA registrants and Dreamers.
