Update: KnowHow2GO Surpasses $200 Million Mark in Donated Media Space

December 03, 2012

The national campaign KnowHow2GO (KH2GO) has received $215 million in donated media space for its efforts over nearly six years to encourage students in grades 8–10 to prepare for college.

Launched in January 2007 with the generous support of the Lumina Foundation, KH2GO is a national public service campaign that combines education and community-based and government partnerships to raise awareness to motivate students and their families to seek information about college, to prepare academically, apply to college, seek financial aid and, ultimately, enroll in postsecondary institutions.

Dozens of state and regional networks and national organizations have signed on to the campaign.

In August, Lumina Foundation transferred the assets of its successful KnowHow2GO campaign to ACE and the National College Access Network (NCAN).

NCAN’s website will host the free materials the campaign developed in the last several years to support state and regional college access networks, including toolkits, rubrics and templates related to operating successful networks. ACE is now the home of KH2GO’s media assets, including the website, branding materials, web site, print collateral and public service announcements.
