The 9 members of the 10th cohort of ACE’s Internationalization Laboratory met last week in Washington for a mid-year seminar, sharing both their accomplishments and challenges encountered on campus.
Among the topics covered during the lively discussion, one of three meetings planned for the cohort, were the idea of student badges for global education experiences outside the classroom and for academics, recruitment of international students, and how to use branding to further internationalization.
The Internationalization Laboratory provides institutions with customized guidance and insight as they review their internationalization goals and develop strategic plans. In addition to meetings in Washington, cohort members receive on-site campus visits and regular guidance from ACE staff, as well as a peer review visit.
Institutions that are interested in joining the 11th cohort of the Internationalization Laboratory, which runs from 2013-2015, can apply now.
