The purpose of this publication is to aid campus leaders in analyzing and responding to the gender equity issue. The report takes a detailed look at the educational achievement of men and women in the United States, disaggregating key indicators by race/ethnicity, age, and income to determine where the gender gap exists, where it was widest, and where concerns about men appear to be justified or misplaced.
