Apply now for ACE’s Institute for Leading Internationalization, a program for developing leaders who are responsible for global efforts on their campuses.
The three-day institute, offered by the ACE Center for Internationalization and Global Engagement, will bring together a team of presidents, chief academic officers and other experts to lead a select group of participants through a challenging program featuring small group work, simulations and case studies.
Discussion topics include:
The personal qualities necessary for leading internationalization
Developing international vision and goals for your institution
Making the case for internationalization
Working and negotiating among multiple, competing constituencies
Working effectively with the president and chief academic officer
The institute is designed specifically for senior campus officials with designated responsibility for leading and coordinating internationalization on their campuses, including senior international officers. Those who have already achieved a basic understanding of their position will benefit the most from the institute.
