ACE’s Center for Internationalization and Global Engagement Launches Briefing Series

March 26, 2012

ACE’s Center for Internationalization and Global Engagement will offer a series of briefs and webinars designed specifically to help senior leadership learn about key issues in international higher education. The first installment focuses on China—the written brief is available now and the webinar is scheduled for Thursday, April 26, at 2:00-3:30 p.m. EDT.

Developed in partnership with the Center for International Higher Education (CIHE) at Boston College (MA), International Briefs for Higher Education Leaders will consist of two releases per year. The first will focus on a specific country and the second will focus on one aspect of global engagement. Each release in the series will consist of two key components:

  • A brief providing an overview of current issues in international higher education and featuring articles written by leading scholars, policymakers and practitioners.
  • An interactive webinar featuring authors of the brief.

This year’s offerings include China: Emerging Opportunities and Challenges in Higher Education Cooperation and Institutional Strategies for Global Engagement, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EST. Individual brief and webinar packages are available for members for $199 and non-ACE members at $249, but purchasers can save $100 by buying both packages at the same time.
