2012 ACE Internationalization Collaborative Annual Meeting

December 30, 1899

The Collaborative Advantage: Exploring the Next Horizon in Global Engagement

As you may know, the Collaborative is a network institutions that gathers each year to discuss pressing issues in the field of international education, share models of good practice, and connect with colleagues from across the nation. This year we explored a strategic partnership between ACE and the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA), who co-hosted this meeting in conjunction with their own 2012 Annual Conference. We hope you were able to participate in one or both events.

The theme of the 2012 Collaborative meeting was The Collaborative Advantage: Exploring the Next Horizon in Global Engagement and the event featured:

  • Presidential Perspectives from the ACE Blue Ribbon Panel on Global Engagement.
  • Presentations from a diverse array of campus practitioners and faculty members who shared innovative approaches to issues raging from student engagement to international partnerships.
  • A closing address from Dr. Eduardo Ochoa, Assistant Secretary for Post Secondary Education at the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Agenda (PDF) 217 KB
