Educational Attainment

  • President Barack Obama has made educational attainment a cornerstone of his higher education platform, with the goal of the United States having the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020. ACE has introduced a number of programs and publications aimed to help postsecondary institutions contribute to meeting this goal. Additionally, in cooperation with five other higher education associations, the Council has convened a national Commission on Higher Education Attainment, chaired by Ohio State University President Gordon Gee.
