College Readiness

  • ACE is committed to helping first-generation and minority students apply for and succeed in college. Now in nearly 25 states, the American College Application Campaign is designed to guide high school seniors through the college application and admissions process. Supported by grants from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Lumina Foundation and The Kresge Foundation, this program has already played a role in raising the percentage of low-income students who pursue higher education. In addition, the KnowHow2GO campaign is a multiyear, multimedia effort to encourage 8th through 10th graders to prepare for college. The campaign was launched by ACE, Lumina Foundation for Education and the Ad Council.
