Maps to Credentials

Providing Effective Effecting Pathways for Student Veterans

​As the American higher education system looks to more effectively serve student veterans, we were pleased to host a webinar  to discuss new methods of applying veterans’ training in higher education. 

Presented in collaboration with the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) and the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), the webinar discussed:

  • Creating credential roadmaps that maximize the application of veterans’ training and occupational specialties
  • Identifying new ways to increase retention and attainment rates for student veterans
  • Integrating programs and services for student veterans
  • Advancing faculty engagement and institutional change

The webinar brought together leaders from 3 community colleges to share lessons they are learning as they engage campus constituencies in the process of creating degree maps and integrating programs and services for student veterans.
