Regional Women's Leadership Forum - April 2017

Registration for April 2017 is now closed

Thank you for your interest in the Regional Women's Leadership Forum. This 3-day leadership program is for mid-level women administrators (typically department chairs, directors, and assistant/associate deans) with high potential for advancement in higher education administration.

March 22, 2017 ​​Cancellation requests received by COB will receive refund minus $300 cancellation fee
​After March 22, 2017​​​ ​Cancellation requests received will receive refund minus $500 cancellation fee
 
Program Location

The April 2017 forum is taking place in Dallas, TX at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel. For more information, click on the Location tab at the top of the page.

Program Book and Mock Interview Materials

To participate in the program, all participants will need to complete a conference registration (including payment) and submit materials for both the program book and mock interviews. For more information on the program materials, visit the Program tab at the top of the page.

Registration Fees

Early Bird: ACE Member Institution: $1,500   |   Non-ACE Member Institution: $1,800

General Registration: ACE Member Institution: $1,550   |   Non-ACE Member Institution: $1,850

If you are unsure whether your institution is an ACE member institution, please check the ACE Members & Associates Directory.

Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and materials. Participants are responsible for their hotel and travel expenses. Discounted hotel rates are available for attendees registered for this workshop. For more information, visit the Location tab above. 

Scholarship

ACE will award support grants/scholarships to defray the cost of registration for the Regional Women's Leadership Forums.

The Women's Leadership Legacy Fund Scholarship accepting process is now closed.  

Payment and Cancellations Policies

Full payment must be received prior to start of the program to confirm registration. ACE accepts the following payment options:

  • Credit Card - All major credit cards accepted. Call 202-939-9459 to have payment processed by phone.
  • Check - Mail both check and registration receipt to:

Note: A purchase order is accepted only as proof of a pending payment. To request an invoice, email both the purchase order and registration receipt to cbanks@acenet.edu.

Program Book Materials

Each participant will receive access to an electronic program book containing information for program participants and presenters. Please email the following information to ACELeadership@acenet.edu no later than March 10, 2017:

  • Electronic photo (.jpeg format)
  • Web link to your electronic bio

 

Mock Interview Materials

We have organized an interactive program of plenary sessions, including a mock interview with will assist you with shaping your career development plan. Please email the following information to ACELeadership@acenet.edu no later than March 10, 2017:

  • Administrative Vitae/CV
  • Sample job description (of a position you aspire to)
  • Cover letter (The cover letter should be tailored to the sample job announcement)

Preliminary Schedule

The following is the preliminary schedule for the convening. A detailed agenda will be included in the digital program book that will be emailed to participants prior to the meeting.

Day 1

8:30 a.m. - Registration and sign-in open

5 p.m. - First day’s programming ends

5:30 p.m. - Reception and Dinner  

Day 2

8:30 a.m. - Re-gathering

4:30 p.m. - Second day's programming ends

Day 3 

8:30 a.m. - Re-gathering

2:30 p.m. - Workshop ends (Tentative)

Room Rate

Participants are responsible for their hotel and travel expenses. The rate for attendees $199/night. To receive the discounted rate, please read the Hotel and Travel document. Discounted hotel rates are available for attendees registered for this workshop. Please register for the Regional Women's Leadership Forum prior to reserving a room. The deadline to reserve a room is Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
