The American Council on Education (ACE) College and University Partnerships (CUP) Division launched its 2017-18 webinar series on October 18, 2:00-3:30 ET, with a complimentary webinar on credit for prior learning (CPL) pathways with ACE CREDIT* recommendations. Collaborative Credentialing: Back to School with ACE CREDIT Recommendations features three organizations: JetBlue Airways, Saylor Academy and Study.com. These organizations have created postsecondary pathways for JetBlue employees through credit for prior learning options. Learn about the JetBlue Scholars program from Cody Cleverly, Manager for Academic Programs at JetBlue, which provides employees with a degree pathway through alternative credits.
Among several prior learning options, JetBlue employees can apply credit for military and corporate training, including online education courses with ACE credit recommendations, to complete a degree at Thomas Edison State University. Cody Cleverly is joined by Saylor Academy’s Director of Education, Devon Ritter, and Ori Gold, Content Development Manager and Helena Leung, Content Strategist, at Study.com to share examples of forging partnerships in order to more effectively serve contemporary learners.
The remaining webinars in ACE CUP’s 2017-18 webinar series will focus on Credit for Prior Learning(delete) CPL Implementation (February, 2018); Accreditation and CPL (April, 2018); and Articulating CPL (June, 2018).
