Adult Learner of the Year Award

The Adult Learner of the Year Award is presented annually by ACE's College Credit Recommendation Service to an adult learner who has benefited from the use of ACE credit recommendations to earn a college degree or advance a career.

Do you know someone who has overcome great odds to pursue to a degree? Help us honor that achievement by nominating him or her to become ACE's 2012 Adult Learner of the Year. ACE will honor the winner at its 95th Annual Meeting, Leading Change, to be held in Washington, DC, March 2-5, 2013.

This year's Adult Learner of the Year will receive a $500 scholarship from ACE to continue his or her education. Award winners demonstrate:

  • Continued success in academic, professional, personal, and community endeavors.
  • Extraordinary achievement in their community or workplace while successfully balancing the demands of family, career, and education.
  • Inspiration in others to set high lifelong learning goals.

The nomination period for the 2012 Adult Learner of the Year has passed. We look forward to announcing the winner this March at our Annual Meeting.
