Clarian Health Partners
Clarian Health Partners comprises three hospitals in Indiana (Methodist, Indiana University, and Riley hospitals), as well as a vast network of clinics and satellite sites. With approximately 10,000 staff, 2,000 physicians, and 800 volunteers, Clarian is the largest health care organization in Indiana. Committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research, Clarian is considered to be one of the nation's premier health care facilities.

Founded in 1850, Pinkerton was the first private investigation firm in the United States. Today, the businesses of Pinkerton and Burns International are part of Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., providing a broad range of security services for individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the country. The company's U.S. operation has 130,000 employees, more than 600 branch offices, and revenue of more than $2.5 billion.

The third largest state-maintained highway system in the country, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) builds, maintains, and operates the state's roads, bridges, and tunnels. Through the Commonwealth Transportation Board, it also provides funding for airports, seaports, and rail and public transportation. With an annual budget of about $3.4 billion, it accounts for nearly 14 percent of the total state budget.

CVS is America's #1 pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions in more stores than any other retailer. CVS has created innovative approaches to serve the health care needs of all customers through its approximately 4,100 CVS/pharmacy stores; CVS.com, its online pharmacy; and PharmaCare Management Services, its pharmacy benefit management and specialty pharmacy. CVS has 105,000 employees in 35 states and the District of Columbia. The Woonsocket, Rhode Island-based company posted revenues of more than $24.2 billion in 2002.

Marriott International is the world's leading lodging company, with approximately 2,600 owned or franchised properties in 65 countries. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the company employs 145,000 people and reported $20 billion in sales in 2001.
     
Sara Lee Coffee and Tea
Sara Lee Coffee and Tea is a global supplier of coffee, tea, and coffee-making systems to retail and food service customers in 55 countries. Sara Lee markets products in 180 countries and employs more than 130,000 people worldwide.

The Walt Disney World® Resort is one of North America's most frequented tourist spots and spans four theme parks, numerous hotels, water parks, and golf courses. It is located near Orlando, Florida. Disney employs approximately 54,000 employees or "Cast Members," or 2 percent of the greater Orlando population. In fact, Disney employs one of every 14 people in Central Florida, and is a driving force behind the area's $17 billion tourism industry.

Founded in Portland, Maine, as a three-person operation in 1955, Barber Foods has grown to more than 730 associates and processes hundreds of thousands of pounds of poultry every week. Although an American company, Barber Foods employs workers from 52 countries who speak 56 different languages.

Established in 1930 in New Toronto, Ontario, Campbell Soup Company Ltd. is one of Canada's major food manufacturers, and Campbell Soup Company's first foreign subsidiary. Operating plants in Etobicoke and Listowel, Ontario, Campbell Canada employs approximately 1,500 people across the country.

Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. is the world's largest bottler of non-alcoholic beverages, with more than 72,000 employees worldwide and revenues totaling nearly $17 billion. The first of many bottling companies that make up Coca-Cola Enterprises began operating in 1899. Today, the Atlanta, Ga.-based company operates in 46 states, all 13 provinces of Canada, and portions of Europe.

The Shaw Group is one of eastern Canada's leading natural resource manufacturers. In addition to operating six retail Shaw Centres, more than 300 dealers sell the Shaw Group's 1,000 individual products ranging from brick, pipe, and wood, to blasting abrasives, and commercial and industrial aggregates. The Nova Scotia-based company's market area includes all of North America, Japan, China, Sweden, and Germany.

DaimlerChrysler is the world's third largest carmaker in sales—posting revenues of $136.1 billion in 2001—and manufacturing about 4.7 million vehicles each year at plants throughout the world. At its plant in Huntsville, Alabama, workers assemble electronics, such as radios and controllers, for Chrysler vehicles.
