GED Transcripts are held by different organizations based on where the GED Tests were administered. Find the category below that best describes where you took the tests:

Local testing center in the U.S. or Canada

Non-military or civilian centers such as colleges, schools and adult community education centers

Call in or mail your request directly to your local GED testing center.

Military, overseas or correctional facility testing programs

Completed between the time periods listed below

Military:

  • Active duty U.S. military personnel tested after Oct. 1, 1985
  • Canadian military tested between June 1982 and Sept. 1997
  • Coast Guard personnel tested after Jan. 1975
  • Ft. Campbell personnel tested after July 1, 1985
  • Ft. Hamilton personnel tested after Jan. 1984
  • Ft. Jackson personnel tested after March 1975
  • Ft. Knox personnel tested after July 1, 1985
  • U.S. military personnel tested overseas after Sept. 1974
  • U.S. Veterans who tested at VA Hospitals after Oct. 1989
  • West Point personnel tested after Sept. 1982

Overseas:

  • Overseas civilians tested between Nov. 1966 and May 1998

Correctional Facilities:

  • Federal prison inmates tested after 1954
  • Michigan prison inmates tested after 1957

All other GED testing sites

Programs in the military, overseas or correctional facilities that were NOT completed at the locations or during the time periods listed above, including U.S. Job Corps
