U.S. Branch Campuses and Degree Programs Abroad
Tell us about your institution's branch campus or
degree-granting programs abroad.
U.S. colleges and universities are becoming increasingly mobile,
setting up branch campuses and offering their undergraduate and graduate
degrees to non-U.S. students in their home countries.

Drawing on a roundtable of U.S. campus leaders who have established
degree programs or campuses abroad, ACE's newest publication
in this area, On the
Ground Overseas: U.S. Degree Programs and Branch Campuses
Abroad, outlines the lessons learned from their experiences. It
also provides descriptions of ten U.S. programs and branch campuses
around the world.
The "export" of U.S. programs and degrees is relatively uncharted
territory and ACE's first publication in this area, Venturing
Abroad: Delivering U.S. Degrees Through Overseas Branch Campuses and
Programs, provides a framework for understanding the range of
program offerings, the motivations for institutions to engage in these
activities, maps the landscape of current approaches, and outlines a
framework for decision making for college and university leaders and
boards.
