2007 Advisory Group Meeting

ACE convened an advisory group to advance the national discussion on cultivating collaboration between internationalization and multicultural education, and develop future programming for the initiative. The purpose of this advisory group was to:

  • Identify concrete strategies for intervention and action
  • Advise ACE on a proposed multi-institutional project

  • Focus national attention on the rationale for bridging the gap between multicultural education and internationalization
  • Provide a forum for institutional leaders to discuss issues involved in launching campus dialogues about creating better synergy between the two areas
  • Showcase promising practices that institutional teams might include in action plans for cultivating collaboration
