The Globally Engaged Institution

ACE is pleased to announce that the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Leadership Network for International Education will take place in Washington, DC, on November 10 from 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m. The meeting will showcase a range of ways to engage in low-cost, high-impact internationalization. The meeting will explore avenues for collaboration such as institutional consortia, networks, and government and private partnerships.

This is a meeting for Presidents and Provosts of ACE member institutions only. Other institutional leaders are welcome to attend the meeting, provided they are accompanied by their President or Provost. Registration for the meeting is $150.

The 2009 meeting will feature speakers and panels on:

  • Leveraging consortia and networks to enhance internationalization;
  • Building and sustaining external partnerships with business, government, and community groups that support internationalization;
  • The importance of internationalization to the business community.
