Webinar Series on
Mapping Internationalization
The Center for International Initiatives at the American Council on
Education (ACE) is pleased to offer a series of webinars on advancing
internationalization at U.S. colleges and universities. The webinars
will be based in part on ACE's recent publication, Mapping
Internationalization on U.S. Campuses: 2008 Edition and are
co-sponsored by members of the Inter-association Network on Campus
Internationalization.* Please join us for what promises to be an
engaging and informative dialogue on an important national issue.

Advancing Internationalization at Your Institution
These webinars will review the major findings of ACE research by
institutional sector. Dr. Madeleine Green will describe key findings on
the internationalization of the curriculum and co-curriculum, and
faculty policies and opportunities. An internationalization leader from
the relevant sector association will discuss the implications of the
findings for campus practice. These webinars will allow participants to
compare internationalization at their institution to national results
and explore the implications for their campus. The cost is $125 per

and Universities (NASULGC) and Association of American Universities
(AAU), with a response by Dr. William B.
Lacy, Vice Provost, University Outreach and International
Programs, University of California, Davis.
Mapping Internationalization on U.S. Campuses: 2008 Edition
updates the ACE study conducted in 2001 on the policies and practices of
colleges and universities in furthering internationalization. The
results, taken from a survey of more than 2,700 colleges and
universities, present information on all U.S. higher education
institutions as well as information by institutional type. Please join
us for what promises to be an engaging and informative dialogue on an
important national issue.
