Advertising in The Presidency—The American Council on Education's Magazine for Higher Education Leaders

Advertising rates and other information are also available in our media kit (131 KB; PDF).

College costs. Fund raising. Government regulation. Affirmative action. Information technology.

Today's college president thinks about these issues everyday. And while the advice of pundits and consultants can be helpful, nothing can rival the experience of other higher education leaders. And nowhere else can college and university leaders read what their esteemed colleagues are saying about these critical issues than in the pages of The Presidency.

The only magazine written by and for college and university presidents, chancellors, vice presidents, and other campus decision makers, The Presidency gives readers a forum for sharing their ideas and airing their opinions. Articles written by higher education's most provocative leaders offer one-of-a-kind analysis of today's toughest campus issues. And regular departments keep readers up-to-date on legislation, essential resources in print and on the web, and effective campus management strategies.

The Presidency is published every fall, winter, and spring. ACE member presidents receive three copies of the magazine—one for their own review and the others for distribution to other campus executives. In addition, the magazine boasts a sizable base of paid subscribers, ensuring its readership throughout the higher education community, for a total circulation of more than 7,500 readers.

Connect with the Decision Makers

The presidents, chancellors, vice presidents, and senior administrative officers who read The Presidency are involved in identifying and meeting their institutions' needs for a variety of goods and services.

Reinforce Your Message: Value-Added Opportunities

As the flagship magazine of the American Council on Education, The Presidency enjoys an impressive loyalty among its readers. Advertising within the pages of each issue delivers your message to key campus stakeholders, but ACE also offers additional opportunities to enhance and solidify that exposure:

  • Exclusive inserts: The Presidency offers advertisers the opportunity to produce a two-, four-, or eight-page insert that will be mailed with the issue in an envelope. When you reserve an insert, ACE guarantees that no other inserts will accompany the mailing of that issue. There's no better way to deliver your advertising message clearly and exclusively to this highly select audience!
  • Sponsorship and exhibit opportunities: ACE's Annual Meeting offers a multitude of opportunities to enhance your visibility in the higher education community. Exhibitors enjoy meeting the more than 1,000 higher education decision makers who attend this winter conference—as well as a 20 percent discount off their winter issue advertisement! Contact the Annual Meeting Office at (202) 939-9410 for more information.
