According to a new report from the National Center for
Public Policy and Higher Education and Public Agenda, the percentage of
Americans who believe many qualified, motivated students do not have an
opportunity for higher education is at an all-time high. Squeeze

based on a public opinion poll of 1,001 adults conducted earlier this
year, describes continuities and changes in public perceptions over time
