We are partner presidents, colleague presidents, friend
presidents. One of us brings much-needed history and stability to the
partnership, and the other brings an external orientation and a drive
for change. Together and separately, we run two Catholic Benedictine
liberal arts colleges: the College of Saint Benedict for women and Saint
John's University for men. When colleagues hear that we have an
educational partnership, they seek to simplify it and understand it in a
familiar way. . . .
