A Tribute to Mary France Weathers

Without ever having given birth to a single child, she is truly the matriarch of my father's side of the family.  She has provided moral support, financial support, guidance and at times, a place to live for many family members in need, myself included. She believed in me when I announced that I wanted to attend college and later law school. She opened her heart and home to me. When my daughter was born prematurely, Aunt Mary helped me care for her. She has assisted me and others in more ways that I can count.  Her compassion is not limited to her family. She is active in her church and was named volunteer of the year for her work with a local hospital. For these reasons, I honor my aunt, Mary Frances Weathers.
