An Inspiring Role Model
Remembering Edna Cook

Ms. Edna Cook, R.N., is my favorite cousin and a true role model. I have many fond memories of my cousin Edna growing up. I remember watching her preside at many Church programs. I can still see her standing behind a church table in a striking suit and elegant hat. She spoke so eloquently and powerfully.

The most powerful memory is of Edna's pinning ceremony. This was my first time in a college setting. I was very impressed and the rest is history…
