Center for International Initiatives

Through its Center for International Initiatives, ACE offers programs and services that enhance internationalization on U.S. campuses and situate U.S. higher education in a global context. In addition, ACE works with international partners on higher education issues that have a global impact. (more)

Campus Internationalization
ACE provides programs and resources to help institutions develop a strategy for comprehensive internationalization—a broad, deep, and integrative approach that enables campuses to become fully internationalized. The following ACE initiatives help campuses advance internationalization.

U.S. Higher Education in a Global Context
U.S. institutions conduct teaching, research, and service in an increasingly globalized world. The following ACE initiatives help campus leaders strategically position their institutions in the global context.

International Engagement
ACE convenes U.S. higher education leaders with their counterparts from abroad, represents U.S. higher education abroad, and supports higher education's engagement in institutional partnerships in developing countries.

Advocacy
ACE works with national organizations and associations of universities abroad on issues of common interest.

Resources
ACE serves as a resource on internationalization and global issues for member institutions and other stakeholders.
