2009 Council of Fellows Weekend

Save the Date: June 6–7, 2009

Theme: Facilitating Change: How Leaders Can Advance Transitions on Campus

Preliminary Agenda

Higher education administrators are called upon to implement rapid change in an environment that is not designed to facilitate such transformation (and indeed, often impedes it). There are any number of reasons why this might be the case, such as embedded culture, community values, and institutional structures, to name but a few.

As leaders, we work from our strengths—who we are as persons becomes important as we build leadership skills. Using this as a lens through which to examine how leaders facilitate change within institutions, the goal of the weekend is to help attendees think more intentionally about how they can use their own strengths to develop a skill set for leading institutional change under difficult conditions.

Location

Omni Shoreham Hotel
2500 Calvert Street NW, Washington, DC 20003
(888) 444-OMNI
$209 plus tax

Important: When calling the Omni Shoreham Hotel to make reservations, please refer to "ACE Fellows" to receive the meeting rate.
