New from ACE!

Managing Conflict Workshop  SOLD OUT

For the first time, ACE will offer a three night, two-day workshop on conflict management. The workshop will be held, July 18–20, 2006, in Chicago, Illinois.

This session will build on the three-hour session offered in the national program. Until December 1, 2005, alumni of the ACE Department Chair Program will be given the first opportunity to enroll.

The faculty for this workshop will be ACE’s veteran presenters in conflict management: Walter H. GmelchMary Lou Higgerson, and Susan Holton. The workshop structure will enable participants to reflect on their conflict management style and experiment with colleague teams on solutions for conflicted situations. There will be an opportunity for participants to examine their own departmental or campus conflict situations.

This workshop is sold out; additional registrants are being accepted on a wait list only at this time.  The workshop will be held again in July 2007.
