Common Core Standards: Building Assessments of College Readiness

On October 7, 2010, ACE hosted a free webinar for the higher education community entitled Common Core Standards: Building Assessments of College Readiness. It was the second in a series of ACE webinars designed to provide information on the Common Core State Standards initiative particularly for the higher education community.

The speakers were from three Common Core Standards Assessment Consortia that participated in the U.S. Department of Education's Race to the Top grants competition; they described the basic approach of their assessment models and their plans for engaging higher education in developing and implementing the assessments in their participating states.

ACE would like to thank all attendees for their participation in the webinar. We appreciate the understanding of attendees who sent us questions that we were unable to address due to time constraints.
