Susan Porter Robinson is Vice President for Lifelong Learning at ACE.

Welcome to the Center for Lifelong Learning—the bridge of opportunity for adult learners and those who serve them.

Guided by the philosophy that what an individual learns is more important than when, where, or how, the Center has led the movement to evaluate and recommend credit and credentials for learning acquired outside the classroom. We invite you now to take a closer look at the Center to see how college credit recommendations can be earned through the Military or Corporate programs. Through Military Programs, College Credit Recommendation Service (CREDIT), and Credit by Examination programs, millions of adult learners have earned college credit.

Through its research agenda, special programs, and online resources, the Center bridges the information gap as well. It is our hope that you will return here often—to learn more about these bridges of opportunity for adult learners.
