CIP Recognition Events and Activities

College Is Possible (CIP) partner institutions’ ability to inspire, prepare and support the increased access and success of students from underserved communities in higher education depends on the commitment and dedication of institutional and community leaders, educators, parents, and others.

Periodically during the year, CIP partner institutions conduct events and activities that recognize and honor those who have been instrumental in promoting the successful growth and achievement of students. These recognition events normally mark the end of a campus-sponsored pre-college program and highlight the contributions people and organizations have made to the program’s success.

While the events increase visibility for CIP partner institutions’ longstanding support of pre-collegiate programs, they also allow CIP partner institutions to demonstrate their commitment to collaborative partnerships with schools and other community organizations.  It is these valuable collaborations that help more students from underserved communities realize their postsecondary aspirations each year.
