Shrinking budgets. Declining endowments. Rising expectations. The current environment is accelerating pressure on college and university leaders to grow private philanthropic support—just at a time when resources are shrinking. Your time will be well spent during two days of high-level conversations around campaign management and leadership issues that matter to you and your institution.

The sessions will focus on what you need to know to be successful: readying the campus; campaign budgeting, staffing and structure; the role of staff and volunteers, and soliciting major gifts. The sessions will be facilitated by successful fund raising presidents and fund raising consultants who have extensive experience as chief development officers on campuses. Beyond the insight that you are likely to gain, this workshop will provide a conducive setting to confer with your fellow presidents and with advancement leaders. You will have the opportunity to reflect on issues facing your institution with trusted colleagues and consider the significant trends and themes that are driving change.

Although the primary audience for this workshop is presidents, successful campaigns rely on the leadership of many. You are invited to have others accompany you who will play significant roles in your campaign—your spouse, provost/chief academic officer, chief development officer, and deans.
